You're already curious, but let me tell you why a farm share subscription carries with it so much value! More than just the cost of food you eat. 

 

Supporting a local farmer by subscribing to a share of an entire season of farm-fresh, hand-picked produce helps them by removing some of the stress involved with the oftentimes arduous task of marketing and selling their precious (and sometimes fragile) produce. 

 

Farming is "risky business!" Farmers are at the mercy of so many factors that influence the outcome of their efforts - rain, wind, heat, drought, insects, etc. A difficult season with crop failure and lost produce can make or break even the best farmers - it's why so many small farmers actually lose their farms or just plain quit.

 

That's where our subscribers come in. They are our benefactors, our investors, each owning a share of the season's harvest no matter how it turns out. Investing in a small farm subscription for an entire season is a "leap of faith." Because, there are no guarantees. In essence with your money you're saying, "I believe in you (the farmer) and I know you'll do your damnedest to provide me the very best produce you can."

 

And I guarantee you that small farmers like myself work HARD, so aside from "Acts of God," our subscribers are well taken care of. At harvest time, they come FIRST and they get the BEST of what we've grown!

 

Depending on the time of year, our Bounty Basket contains fresh Indiana produce like lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, peas, all kinds of root vegetables, Asian greens, power greens, edible flowers, onions of all types, garlic, cooking herbs, cucumber, summer squash, winter squash, melons, cabbage, broccoli, and more.

Subscribers can choose to have their produce delivered weekly for a fee or pick up at our farm for free. 

Delivery takes place Thursday afternoon/evenings and pickups can occur from Thursday 4pm through Friday, noon.

2025 Bounty Basket Season runs May 15 - October 23 (24 weeks)

 

Cost breakdowns go like this:

Regular Basket (1-2 person household) Yearly Subscription $25 per week @ 24 weeks = $600.

Large Basket (3-4 person household) Yearly Subscription $35 per week @ 24 weeks = $840

Most weeks the value of your basket (based on Indiana farm market prices) will exceed the $25 ($35) weekly cost, but occasionally there will be a week or two where there just isn't as much to harvest - but overall, I think you'll find the value much greater than the cost!

 

You can save 10% if your entire season is paid in full 

Regular w/discount $540.00 for the season. 

Large w/discount $756 for the season

 

Delivery fee is $5 week @ 24 weeks = $120 for the season. Delivery outside our boundaries will need to pick up or make arrangements with a subscriber within our delivery area. Check Delivery Map to see if you live within our route boundaries.

Pickup at our Irvington location is free.

If you're unable to invest for the entire season upfront, consider taking a monthly subscription $100 per month for 6 months (plus delivery fee). If that's still too large of an investment, please shop with us at your local farmer's market or visit our onsite Bountiful FarmStand on weekends during Market Garden season.
